Chardonnay 2024

A bouquet of lemon and lime freshness, delicately perfumed with
aromas of white blossom. A lively palate with pristine acidity, subtle
notes of vanilla supported by delicate oak, a hint of spice and a
mineral finish.

  • The 23/24 growing season began with some welcome spring rains, followed by drier conditions than we’ve experienced over the past three vintages. Budburst arrived right on cue around the 25th of September, setting the stage for a promising start. Aside from a few strong winds in early October, the season was progressing beautifully, and by the 25th we had already completed our first round of shoot thinning. On the 27th of October, Mother Nature reminded us she’s in charge, delivering a frost event that certainly left its mark. Even so, we were rewarded with an excellent flowering and fruit set overall, and where the fruit came through, it did so in abundance and quality. While our Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris yields will be lower this year, what we do have will be a true expression of the season — concentrated, characterful, and worth the wait.
  • Hand-picked in ideal condition and ripeness on the 9th April 2024. Whole bunch
pressed, minimum settling followed by natural fermentation in French oak (10%
new) and aged on lees for 12 months. Bottled on the 25th of Februray 2025.
  • pH: 3.27, TA: 6,4g/l, Alc: 13.5%, RS: 1.2g/l
