Quartz Reef Bendigo Central Otago Chardonnay 2024
Certified organic and estate-grown, our Chardonnay 2024 is a wine of elegance, texture, and quiet confidence.
Hand-picked fruit from ourBendigo Estate in Central Otago was fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak casks, with 10% new oak, building complexity while preserving freshness and site expression.
Michael Cooper describes the wine as bright and mouthfilling, with ripe peach and citrus flavours layered with subtle biscuity notes from barrel maturation. Fresh acidity carries through to a slightly creamy, lingering finish, giving the wine harmony, poise, and length.
This is a Central Otago Chardonnay with lovely presence now, but one that will reward patience too.

Certified organic and biodynamic, our Single Ferment Pinot Noir 2021 “Velvet” is a singular expression of our Bendigo Estate vineyard in Central Otago.
Personally selected by Rudi Bauer, each Single Ferment release is chosen for its ability to articulate the vineyard with unusual clarity and character. The 2021 vintage was matured in French oak casks and bottled unfined and unfiltered, preserving purity, texture, and detail.
Michael Cooper notes its fragrance, youthful vitality, and supple structure. Rich, savoury, and beautifully layered, this is a Central Otago Pinot Noir with depth and harmony, drinking beautifully now while also offering excellent cellaring potential.
A serious Pinot Noir, though not one inclined to make a fuss about it.
