Every Quartz Reef wine begins in Bendigo, a remarkable corner of Central Otago defined by open northern light, dry air, warm days and cool nights. It is a landscape of contrasts, giving our wines depth and generosity while preserving the freshness, energy and structure that have become part of our signature.

Across our Méthode Traditionnelle, Pinot Noir and white wines, Bendigo reveals itself in different ways: through the brightness and clarity of the fruit, the shape of the tannins, the natural freshness and the detail that unfolds with time.

Our estate vineyards are certified organic and farmed biodynamically, with close attention to the life beneath the vines and the balance of the wider landscape. The result is a family of wines that carries the light, energy and character of Bendigo from the vineyard to the glass.
