We are very pleased to have our two Pinot Noirs ranked in the James Suckling's Top 100 Wines of New Zealand for 2021. 

With a new record of over 25,000 wines tasted in the last year including 650 wines from New Zealand the James Suckling team have been busy! The following wines earned a proud place in the Top 100:

Awarded 96 Points and Ranked #29 Single Ferment Pinot Noir 2018

"Impressive blueberry and dark-cherry aromas, cocoa powder, sweet spices and violet-like florals. The palate has a very smooth, spicy feel with such attractive tannin texture. So fine, very detailed and carrying dark cherry and cocoa flavors so long on the finish. This is intense, smooth and round with impressive tannin structure. From organically grown grapes. Awarded 94 Points and Ranked #70 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

"Always intense and ripe, this has a mix of red-cherry, dark-cherry, currant and black-tea aromas with a dusting of spice and earthy, sappy aromas, as well as violets. The palate has a super fresh, layered and succulent feel with such juicy, soft and supple tannins, wrapped into a smooth framework. Vibrant finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."
