Central Otago’s Bendigo subregion offers a landscape of striking purity and tension—characteristics we strive to capture in every bottle of our Méthode Traditionnelle wines. Recently, Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas highlighted our Blanc de Blancs and Brut in Mindfood magazine, noting the persistent and consistent quality of our sparkling wines. For our team, these words feel especially meaningful. Quality isn’t a single decision—it’s a thousand small decisions, season after season.
Our Blanc de Blancs is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grown on our estate vineyards. In the winery, we treat this wine with a quiet, patient respect: gentle pressing, slow fermentations, and extended lees aging to build structure and complexity while preserving the mineral purity of the fruit.
The result is a wine that is both elegant and energetic—fine bead, citrus and white-flower aromatics, and a finish that carries the unmistakable signature of Bendigo’s soils. To have this cuvée recognised for its precision and consistency reaffirms the values we hold close.
Our Brut has long been the introduction for many to the Quartz Reef style. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it reflects the balance we search for in every vintage: fruit expression without excess, freshness supported by depth, and a texture shaped by time rather than intervention.
The Brut represents our philosophy—spirited, generous, and grounded in our land. It is a wine we return to again and again as a reminder of why Méthode Traditionnelle is worth the patience it demands.
