Quartz Reef Pinot Noir 2012

Quartz Reef Pinot Noir 2012

XXXXx

90 / 100

Made from biodynamic grapes grown in the Bendigo district. Dense, ripe sweet fruit flavours with red and black cherry, plum, spice and a suggestion of floral characters. Impressively powerful, focussed wine with good development potential.

Quartz Reef Pinot Gris 2012

Quartz Reef Pinot Gris 2012

XXXXx

89/100

Pure, tangy Pinot Gris with Naschi pear and subtle bready yeast lees flavours. Delicate wine that has surprising power demonstrated with a lengthy finish. Dry, or perhaps off/dry wine with a seductively ethereal texture.

Unfortunately New Zealand vineyards are generally small and there's not enough of it.
