Pinot Rose 2016
Hand-picked in ideal condition and ripeness on the 15th April from our biodynamic Demeter certified Bendigo Estate vineyard; planted in 1998, with a vine density of 5,000 plants per hectare.
Grapes are selected from our modestly north sloping 15 hectare vineyard comprising Waenga (fine sandy loam) and Molyneux (shallow sandy loam) soils.
Fully destemmed, with 24 hours skin contact. Only free run juice, indigenous yeast ferment in stainless steel tank.
Early bottling in August 2016.
Bright rose petal colour with a bouquet of sweet berries. Rich and textural with a delicious fine acidity and hints of serious Pinot Noir attitude.
